The workflow for creating a task to send specific project resources is quite painful, and it doesn't help that you can't create EAM tasks from the Designer like you can with tags. I'm trying to create a task to send global resources to a fallback HMI edge project, but only resources from particular folders, and it's incredibly slow. Each folder might have 100-300 resources within them, and I have to manually check each checkbox for every resource within the folders to send them... It's a nightmare. And if extra resources are added into these folders they would then need to be manually added to every EAM task that is sending them which is prone to forgetting to add them.
I would rather specify resource paths with wildcards to use. E.g. Views/Shared/Templates/*; Style Classes/*, or regex patterns would be more flexible.
Is this something that was improved in 8.3?
