As described, in Vision you can easily copy a component by Ctrl+clicking and dragging the component.
This has already been implemented - it might not be in the release, but I’m pretty sure 8.0.1 has it. What container type are you using?
Just coming back to this one, the reason I didn’t know this was already implemented was that in Vision and indeed in most other applications I’ve used, holding ctrl before clicking and dragging will add objects to the selection within the selected area. Clicking and dragging, then holding Ctrl will copy the objects.
However, Perspective appears to have gone a different route, and instead the “Ctrl then Click drag” is copy objects, and there is no implementation of the add to selection shortcut
