[Bug-11902,13846] Project Browser collapses view items when copy-pasting

I’m not sure if this is quite a “bug” per-se but it’s certainly behavior that I find very irritating to deal with and wanted to discuss. At least for Perspective views in the Project Browser, when cut and pasting items between levels in the hierarchy, most of the hierarchy instantly collapses upon cutting or pasting.
