I exported a 7.9 project to ignition 8.0
We used shared templates in 7.9 but after export these aren’t visible.
I can imagine that ignition 8 doesn’t use shared templates anymore. but it should be nice if the templates are imported as normal templates or show a popup to import those templates as normal templates.
The project hierarchy is different. If you restore a complete gateway backup, the upgrade process can shuffle the pieces into the new structure. If you import single projects, you will have to clean up the broken references yourself.

I just tested on 8.0.1, and it looks like templates that were previously defined as ‘shared’/‘global’ are now correctly importing into the local project - which is probably related to another fix we made within the last week or two.
