Fairly new to Ignition.
Regarding the file explorer. I’ve mapped the root directory to my network and can see the files no issue. I’ve also added a “file extension filter” to only show pdf files. I then open the selected pdf into the pdf viewer.
My problem is when I add a new file or folder under the root directory on my mapped network drive, it does not update on my displays. I’ve seen a couple older threads with this topic, but nothing recently.

I remember that I added a refresh button to use with the file explorer. I believe I set the root path or set it something else and then back to the original immediately to refresh. If you need it to happen automatically, you could always put it on a timer object.
If you look in the java documentation, there might be a refresh method.
