Downstream of files.inductiveautomation.com/sdk/javadoc + files.inductiveautomation.com/sdk/storybook migration to sdk.inductiveautomation.com/, we continue to migrate from our old files.inductiveautomation.com S3-backed store to new stores, plus simplifying the URLs where we can.

Beginning with last night's 8.3.8-SNAPSHOT build, links on its Download Ignition page now start as follows, with the old coordinates for reference.

https://files.inductiveautomation.com/builds/nightly/ -> https://releases.inductiveautomation.com/nightly/

The release candidate and final release builds will migrate in a similar way once 8.3.8-rc1 rolls around:

As will launchers, though the context prefix stays equally short here.

Also in the works is:

  • Repointing future 8.1.x nightlies and releases per the above.
  • Migrating already-published nightlies and releases for both 8.x generations to the new URLs and underlying S3 bucket, with courtesy CDN redirects from the old URL format to the new to avoid disruption, for some window of time.
  • Migrating URLs and underlying bucket on the Strategic Partner Modules downloads tab.
