Firewall Rules for Perspective

Ignition user here! I have a firewall between two networks for my company. Network A hosts my Ignition server/gateway, network B is where my Perspective end-users are going to be. By default, all network traffic between the two is disabled. I need to submit a firewall rule change and would like to nail it the first time. I have read conflicting information in the forums about what ports I will need to enable. I have read that 8080 must be allowed but the local Perspective address is 8088. What ports do I need to have enabled for my Perspective clients to reach my Ignition gateway? Thank you in advance for your time!

Cheers,

Tim

You should just need port 8088 if using unencrypted connections, otherwise 8043 if using TLS/SSL encryption. These are the default ports, so should work unless you've changed what ports you're using.

The firewall also needs to support websockets.
