I am in the process of changing my AB Vantage Point to ignition. But I have a couple Foxboro PLCs that I am currently mapping through PI. How would be the configuration to connect Foxboro directly to ignition? I understand Foxboro lies in a gateway.
But I have no idea the communication path I should be using. Anyone that has integrated Foxboro with ignition?

From what I saw in my search, most situations where Ignition connects to a Foxboro it is doing so via a server using OPC DA/COM , these days many try to avoid the COM experience entirely which may result in less traction in the forums.
I don't know enough about the nuances of the particular devices to answer if you can do it another way. Occasionally with legacy devices it may be easier to chain them through a Matrikon/Kepware OPC server.
