I was wondering if there is a way to integrate FoxJet printers into the ignition system. Here is the manual I saw

What exactly are you trying to achieve by linking these inkjets with Ignition?

We are trying to get the basic data of the system up time. Downtime. Fault codes.
Batch Number, SKU number and Exp date on the label.

From what I read there is no external data access on these units. Given they run XP, I don't think they should even be used anymore on a plant floor with any network for security reasons.

Nothing wrong with using an XP system for running a process, just don't connect it to a network any more.
