New guy here - thanks for your time.
Hardware setup - Mitsubushi FX5u-64M PLC with a FX5-ENET/IP module attached. Both the PLC and Enet module have the latest firmware updates (PLC - 1.310, Enet - 1.104). The ENET module is successfully talking to a Keyence laser micrometer via the ethernet/ip protocol. I'm trying to attach Ignition to the ENet module as well. Here is a screen shot of the ENET module setup from GXworks 3:
When I enable the device connection in the Ignition Gateway the ENET module comes up with a C059 error which according to the manual "Error in command or subcommand specification. There is a command or subcommand that
cannot be used by the Ethernet module." This also errors out the ethernet/ip connection with the laser.
Has anyone seen this and is there a way around it? The PLC Ethernet port is tied up by another system - I may be able to switch Ignition over to the PLC ethernet port (but if I can, I would prefer to use the Enet module port).
Thanks,
Cj
