In a system with multiple gateway and the use of remote tag providers to gather data from multiple gateways, is there some reasonable limitation to the number of remote tag providers to use ? For example, can we have a gateway with 100 remote connections ?
I would ask for the “size” of the provider (thousand tags for example) rather than the number of remote tag providers.
It sound good to have 100 remote connection with 10 tags. But it sounds bad to have 5 remote providers with 100k tags. This is just because is more likely to have a big count of tags per provider than 100 servers/providers sending those tags.
Now I’m wondering the same, I was not able to find anything about it.
