I am strying to restore Ignition gateway backup file to my laptop.
I select gateway backup file and tick "Override Gateway Name" and key in Gateway name on my laptop .
Then I click "Restore".
I got below , error is "Please choose a *.gwbk file.", but I already selected the backup file .
This is not my first time to restore a gateay, I done this successfully but stuck this time, not sure which step I am missing.
Your filename doesn't end in .gwbk.
But if you check my screenshot, the file is end in .gwbk.
I don’t see the difference .
But not on the bottom screen shot. For some reason.
I select the file and click restore, it jump to the second screen.
I'm out of ideas. Looks like a bug. What version is this?
Edit: Actually, try changing the filename to end in .zip and open that outside Ignition. (Gateway backups are ZIP files.) The file structure itself might be corrupted.
Tried your advice , change it to zip file and try to unzip it and I got message file corrupted.
It works fine when I backup a new file and restore it.
