i'm trying to setup a connection in my ignition gateway to a siemens plc 1200 which have a lean module connected and correctly configured.
I'm not able to connect it.
The lean module and the plc are in a different subnet (like one is 10.....100 and the other is the standard one 192.168.....).
Can this be the reason?

The subnet could be an issue, but depends on how the rest of the network is setup. If there are routers and gateways configured correctly, you could possibly communicate. Can you ping or tracert the devices you are trying to connect to from the Ignition server?
I would likely work with whoever setup the network, whether it be IT or someone in another department to make sure the networks can talk together.
