Hello all,
I am attempting to troubleshoot a time discrepancy issue we are having with my Ignition Gateways (front and back end). Both are synced to the same NTP server, and the OS system time and time zone are correct. However, on the gateway status page the “local time” is consistently 6 hours off. This has not impacted any historian or tag functions yet. So far, the only thing impacted has been a gateway script that runs each morning (I offset this 6 hours for now to pull the correct time, but I would like to fix the root cause).
What I’ve tried:
- Restarting the gateways
- NTP resync
- Verified OS time and time zone
Has anyone seen Ignition show an incorrect Local Time while most timestamps remain correct?
Is there another place Ignition/JVM could be picking up a time zone offset?
Any other ideas?
Thanks!
