Gateway Tag Change Events

I am running Ignition 8.0.10

I would like to run a script when the value of a tag changes.

[default]SCADA_ALARM_CP01_0_02
[default]SCADA_ALARM_CP01_0_03

Works, however

[default]SCADA_ALARM_CP01_0_0*

Does not work.

Am I missing some magic somewhere?
