remember that the user name is also case sensitive. Thats the issue i always forget.

Thanks for mentioned this point but in my scenario username and password is correct but unable to login.
Has your username and password ever worked? Are you able to login to the default administration account?
If you have access to the gateway, you can use the gwcmd command prompt to reset the default login.
