Is it possible to utilize gradient colors like shown in the image above and apply them to styles in Ignition Perspective?

Yes, unfortunately it is. But don’t be despondent; it’s also possible to make gradients that aren’t an offense to the senses.

  • Click the props.style modify style icon.
  • Select Background.
  • In the Background Image field put in something like:
  • linear-gradient(CornflowerBlue, Blue) CSS home button
    or
  • linear-gradient(#7777cc, #000055) CSS home button 2

Please, please do some research on good GUI design and layout and have a look at the work of professionals on Windows and phone apps and how good design doesn’t distract or detract from the application.
