Hello,
I'm new on ignition and I have an issue.
I have 2 green question marks on my tags and I dont really understand what to do. Some people here in the forum talk about checking the firmwar and update it or something like that. I donc know how to do it and where can I check it. the tag is ns=1;s=[Prod]powerSupplyStateSettingsUnique[1] and it seems to be good.
there is also something that I wanna precise that seems important to résolve this pronlem is that Quality is uknown in the two tags.
Need Help please
Welcome.
You'll have to provide more information.
What PLC brand, model, and version is this? (It looks like it might be a Logix product, from the OPC Item Path given.)
What driver are you using? (The OPC Item Path suggests an Ignition native driver.)
Do you have any related errors showing up in your gateway log?
hello,
Im not using a plc I'm using IDRAC( integrated Dell remout acces controller ) in my supervision I have to show the states of the virtuals disks, the states of the disks are fine and they are updated everytime on ignition, but the state of the alimentation dosen't want to change !
the item path is fine, and the driver is microsoft SQLServer JDBC Driver.
Hope that is enough information to get some help.
No, it isn't. There has to be some driver or data path from your IDRAC to your Ignition tags. SQLServer is a database.
Please show the configuration details for one of the troublesome tags. Or, perhaps, open a support ticket so IA can look over your shoulder.
Yes i found the driver and it is the same driver for another IDRAC in the same supervision but the second one updates states without any problem.
The solution that I fount is to reebot the IDRAC, this action fixed my problem
