In newer version of Ignition 8.3, there is no longer a separate permission for creating new projects, unlike previous Ignition versions.
The dedicated project creation permission was useful for restricting project creation and management activities while still allowing developers to access the Designer for development tasks.
We would like to understand the recommended approach in Ignition 8.3 to restrict the creation of new projects without restricting Designer access for developers.
