I have been running Ignition with my AB PLC to write data to an SQL database for about a year now.
Just recently I am having an issue. At some point during the day the PLC is showing a write alarm. This shows up when the transaction handshake (a value of 1) is not returned within 20 seconds. This continues to happen on subsequent attempts to write to the database. If I restart the computer the issue goes away for a period of time. This morning I noticed that Ignition said my Java was out of date, so I updated it. I wonder if this will help.
Any thoughts as to what is happening? Thanks
I am running Ignition version 7.9.5.
