In your dreams! Not letting our horse run isn’t going to stop the Stamps running all the way to the endzone. (multiple times :smiling_imp: )

Ps: you spelled your teams’ name wrong, it should be Ar-gone-nuts

You crazy Canadians! I had to Google the teams to have any idea what you were talking about. :open_mouth: . (Everyone else - pretend like you follow the Toronto Argonauts and Calgary Stampeders, or at least had heard of them) Thanks for the holiday wishes!

Now you two can join forces against the ignorant American

Nathan,
this may suprise you , but Sacremento had a CFL team in '90s.
The boys at IA are all probably too young to remember. It was a failed attempt at expansion into the US. They had a great catch slogan to promote the game though …" CFL…our balls are bigger"

We are not all that heartless here, excerpt from today’s Sun. Marty was allowed in .

"
But it quickly became clear the horse was not going to be allowed in.
Hotel staff cited health and safety reasons for the decision.
“It ain’t over yet!” Armstrong yelled as Stampeders fans cheered.
The horse then made its way to a back-up host: Bank of Montreal offered its First Canadian Place lobby for Marty to make a grand entrance.
BMO vice-president Paul Deegan says they made the decision to welcome the horse at 8 a.m. this morning.
"

“Should we sign the horse up as a customer?” an employee joked as Marty and the Calgary committee rode up to the tellers’ counter.

When asked if he had a plan for any unplanned deposits, Deegan said: “We have shovels.”

If you are referring to the Touchdown Horse, that is a because of a Toronto bylaw preventing cruelty to animals. The horse will be so idle that it may develop bed sores.

For those who don’t know about the touchdown horse, Calgary has this silly ritual to let a white horse gallop up and down the sidelines for the rare times Calgary actually score a TD

All that fuss to get permission for the horse to run. Somebody forgot to get permission for the Stamps to play.

Nice win Toronto.
