I am new to ignition and trying to set up alarm notifications through SMS. Am I handcuffed to using Airlink Cellular modems or is there any way to use a third party brand? I have a Qixiang Modum active now I would like to use but can't seem to get it to communicate. Any sugges
You are handcuffed to Airlink modems with the Airlink SMS notification profiles.
That said, you can use any brand of modem for what they're actually intended for - to get you on the internet - and use Twilio for notification instead.
