Has anyone run Ignition on a AB CompactLogix 5480?

It is possible but has anyone actually done it? How did it perform?

Yes, but lets dive into a few key points. The i7 they state it has is actually only a single core from it and not the full cpu. The memory of the device is really small so unless you want a database to run on a usb, its not really optimal.

We run both edge and gateway on them however we are moving to the Beckhoff IPC for better performance. When I say this thing is slow, I mean our raspberry pi 4 with 8gb run better…

Also they run Windows 2016 LTSC not current Windows 10 IOT.
