The documentation for this area is not completed. Even the UI for tag history was just implemented a few days ago. Here’s a simple rundown to at least get something on screen. The thing I was doing wrong is I was binding my data source to the datasource property on the control and you actually want to bind it to the "example" sub-property on the datasource property.
