I have a couple of feature suggestions for viewing and manipulating the data stored in the historian.
-View/export tag values with timestamps as they’re stored in the database. Right now if I want to get the actual values I need to write a big query to grab the data from the different partition tables in the database, which is kind of a pain. I attached a screenshot of PI SMT to illustrate what I was thinking of, a search interface with a spreadsheet view.
-Add a value for a historized sql tag at a previous point in time. I don’t think this is possible currently except for inserting the data directly into the partition tables. It would be nice if we could do this through import or a scripting function.
