I would like to know how to define a rule to set the value of the dead band for an analog tag to be stored into the historical data base.
The purpose of this setting is to filter noise and I am used to the classical dead band that considers a percentage of the scale or an absolute value. If a change in the tag value is less than the dead band, the value is not stored, else it is.
With the Ignition dead band I am not sure how to set this parameter. In your experience what is the proper way to do it?
