Is there an easy way of filling a rectangle with a horizontal gradient?
I’ve been rotating them 90 degrees to get a horizontal gradient but is there an easier option of doing this?
Yes. The gradient tool. After choosing your fill, select the gradient tool and use the handles to adjust the direction. To get them perfectly vertical or horizontal, turn “Snap to Grid” on in the “View” menu, or place a guide on the screen and choose “Snap To Guides”.
