How can I add a MODBUS device over serial to Ignition

I have already added a MODBUS TCP device to ignition. But, is it possible to add a serial device to Ignition, from a port?

Yes, if you also have the gateway serial support module installed. Then the list of drivers to pick from will include Modbus RTU.

I don’t have ‘Gateway Serial Support Module’ installed. Where can I get it? It’s not available in Ignition installer package.

From IA’s downloads page (though it is included in newer installers).

Interesting. Included in the zip installers only. You’ll just have to download and add it separately.
