How do I show the Engineering Units that are set up in my PLC in Ignition Version 8

We are running Ignition Version 8 and, while my tags are imported just fine. I can’t see my engineering units that are set up in my PLC. How can I show that on my tag properties?

Generally, you can’t. You didn’t mention what kind of PLC you’re using, but it’s not usually possible for us to even read those kind of properties in most of them. They’re simply not exposed to us.

Thank you. Our PLC’s are Allen Bradley ControlLogix running Revision 32. If that changes anything. lol

Yeah, there’s no (documented) way for us to read the engineering units or descriptions. I don’t even know if they’re actually downloaded to the controller or just part of the Studio5000 portion of the program.
