How modify opcitempath dynamically

Hi,

We have 2 opc servers and need to switch from one to another base upon external condition ; I’ve imagined to use udt and a parameter to modify the path but it seems that parameter are used only at the time of instantiation.
So I imagined to use a member, but then the member canno’t be used to be a “parameter” of the itempath string…
Any idea ?

You can use a parameter, as you mentioned, to do it. And by using the IA Labs Scripting Module, which is free and in the module marketplace, you can use the system.tag.editTag command to override the parameter’s value at any time from a script.
