We are trying to change the opc paths for a massive amount of tags, which are running all the time. I am wondering if there is a way that I can change the opc path without interfering the running tags. Can I export the tags and change it and then import back to override the old tag? or there is any other way to do it? thanks!
Replacing tags will make them restart. A brief interruption. Unavoidable. Exporting to change both names and OPC paths, should let you import as new tags without stopping the originals.
