Considering I have a ignition standard version v8, can I see till which version can I update. Is it safe to update from 8.1.24 to the latest 8.1.35 version.
In terms of license, you can go to 8.1.any
When 8.3 comes out, you can upgrade to that if you have active support
If you don't have active support you will have to pay 65% of your total license cost - however there is an offer out at the minute which expires 28th December 2023 to add support if you don't have it, however I don't know what % that is
All upgrades, even minor, need consideration.
If you don't need any features, or security patches, then "if it's not broken then don't fix it"
Good practice is to always run a bench test in a sandbox before you upgrade live production
