How to Clear System Log

Greetings!

we are about to deploy our development machine into production and I’d like to clear the system log prior to doing so.
Is is as simple as deleting the Ignition\logs\system_logs.idb file? There are also several wrapper.log.x files so not sure of implications.

Yes, all you have to do is clear the system_logs.idb; the wrapper.log files are purely informational and not tied to anything else in Ignition (though you can delete them as well). You will need to restart the gateway to re-generate the system_logs.idb file.
