can anyone said that please, how to communicate DELTA AS218PX to IGNITION SCADA
Today I Learned: This Delta AS-series uses EtherNet/IP, and exposes its memory ranges in either bit or 16-bit word format in various custom CIP classes (See the user manual §9.8). It also has full support for scanning EtherNet/IP I/O, being an adapter for another device as scanner, and claims support for producer/consumer tags.
The only driver for Ignition that currently supports the required features is mine:
Select the Adapter option to use the Delta as a scanner. Select the Scanner+Adapter options to use the Delta as an adapter. Select the Client Option to poll class/instance/attribute values. (That last will require an XML supplement configuration.)
Oh, that's good. The class/inst/attr support is individual addresses only, no multi-word operations.
The user manual doesn't mention Modbus support anywhere in the Ethernet chapter. Just in the changelog and Appendix B. The appendix does not include the Masked Write function code in the supported codes list.
thank you for your reply,
and i need the modbus address for that DELTA AS series PLC
They are all in appendix B of the AS series user manual.
