How to create sqlth_te manualy

Hi,
I have a project with a remote tag provider ALB08ED with tags configured to use the history provider ALB08ED_DB.

The database connection status is "Valid" and is named ALB08ED_DB, but it has not automatically generated the Ignition Auto-Generated Tables (sqlth_te, sqlth_scinfo, ...).

Is there any way to force the creation of the tables?

Create a “seed” history tag pointed at it.

When we are prepping new gateways and historians I create an expression tag tied to now() for its value and set it up as a history tag pointed at the newly created historian instance.

That will trigger the creation of all of the history tables.

I have created It, but it doesn’t work,

Any other idea?

Try setting Deadband Style = Discreet.

Change the expression on the tag to be

getSecond(now(1000))

It needs to see a tag value change I believe.

If it still doesn’t work, go to the gateway web page, status, logs and see if there are any database errors?

Oooo! New security option in v8.3?

/me runs away...

Ha! My spill chick wouldn't even have picked that up. Believe it or not, I know the difference!

She’s obviously not telling you some things on purpose. Time to get a new spill chick I think. Unless it’s the New Zealand or maybe Irish pronunciation spelling?
