You don’t. On many fora, it is considered rude to do so. There are no stupid questions – they all help some future reader.

Exactly ! Not so long ago I made a question to which I found the answer like 10 min. after. Instead of erasing my question to the forum the best practice is to reply myself in the forum with the answer so the information is out there at everyone’s disposal.
