Hi, I have a dock on the left side of the screen that is setup to push which works just as intended and looks seamlessly connected to the main page (no border, just continuation). I did a dock on the right side of the screen and now there is a thin border between the dock and main page as well as a rounded corner at the top. I’ve tried changed styles on borders, margins, backgroundColor, overflow, but nothing will change this eye sore. If I flip the docks, whichever is on the left continues to work just fine and whichever is on the right continues to have this border. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you for the reply! I currently have a Shared dock with top priority that is always visible that seems to be the difference. I have verified all objects in the nested containers don’t have border styles or anything except for backgroundColor. And to confirm, yes I am using the most updated version of 8.3 perspective.
Do you have any style classes assigned where the borders could be set within the class?
Otherwise I’d suggest just making a blank view from scratch and mounting that as the dock and see if it still has the border. If it doesn’t then migrate things in piece by piece and see if that makes a difference. Unfortunately sometimes Ignition seems to keep certain properties even after they’ve been ‘deleted’ so perhaps something is buggy in that particular view.
No styles are set. After some more testing, if I have a docked view at the top that is always visible and it doesn’t matter which corner priority is set, the dock on the right side always shows this rounded corner. I have completely blank screens without any styles set. On the left side it is just fine.
I wouldn’t even mind if it was there if I could just get rid of the blank white space that makes it so much worse looking. Even without any docks it’s hard to tell, but still there. Is there some sort of global style on docks or anything that I’m missing? I’m just looking at the styles of the container under the page.
I don’t understand anymore. I removed the dock on the main page (not blank test page) and now it’s gone.
