How to display / combine multiple remote Alarm Journals in a single table?

Hi everyone,

I am working on an Ignition Perspective project where I need to display historical alarms across our infrastructure.

Currently, on my Gateway, I have 14 Alarm Journal profiles configured:

  • 13 Remote alarm journals connected to remote Edge gateways

  • 1 local Database alarm journal

I would like to have a single table or consolidated view in Perspective that shows the alarm history from all 14 journals together. However, the standard Alarm Journal Table component only allows specifying a single journal name in props.journalName.

What would be the best practice or recommended approach to achieve this?

You need to revisit your gateway configuration. The central gateway would only have the database alarm journal which is what you point your perspective alarm journal at. Remote alarm journals exist on the edge and point to the central database alarm journal.
