How to force the historical system to store one extra point

Hi,
I have a tag for which I enabled the Store History for this tag property with a Default historical scan class (Mode=direct; Slow rate=30.000 ms). When some events occur, I need Ignition Historical System to store an extra sample for me. Is that possible? I didn’t find any script functions that do something like that.
