How to hide the persitent Maximize icon/overlay in Perspective?

I expect the answer will be something super simple that I am overlooking but I'd appreciate the assist.
How can I hide the persistent Maximize Icon/overlay that appears in the bottom-right corner in Perspective?

I think you are referring to the app bar. You control it under session props. Once you change it, for example to hidden, you'll need to close and reopen the project for the change to take effect.
