How to incorporate a vesion control SW (e.g Git/Mercurial)

Hi, just wondering how can I incorporate a version control system like Git or Mercurial to our ignition system/gateway?

Is there any manual or guide on how to do this?

Your inputs will be much appreciated.

I have a couple of ideas that could be used to version control the exported .proj file. let me play with it and I will let you know what I find.

The Python scripts for projects could be developed outside Ignition (but still used inside Ignition) and version controlled. More information about that here: perfectabstractions.com/blog … on-modules
