How to make tags for ABB PLC in Ignition SCADA?

Hİ,

How to make tags for ABB PLC in Ignition SCADA?

Is there a video on how to make the settings?

If you haven’t checked out www.inducitveuniversity.com yet there is a lot of info there. I’ve never used ABB PLCs before, but if it supports Modbus you can use the Modbus driver in the Ignition gateway, gateway->configure->devices to connect. If not, Kepware has drivers for ABB Totalflow which would work if that is the protocol it uses. The Ignition online manual has pages on Modbus connections and Kepware integration.

I could not define the path to the “OPC item path”.

How do I name it.

plc device is a connecting one is disconnected. why does this?

What does the “Details” button show?

detail.

Change the Min level to “Trace”

And click the blue “+” to the right of those 4 messages.

And click the blue “+” to the right of the SocketDelegate error

You are able to get data but it keeps going to disconnected?

It is an AC500? If so, they have a small default connection timeout OMB Time , already had problem with this with another SCADA system.

with firmware 2.3.3+

tag s gives error. When we say reflesh data flows again.

Yes, OMB time is a setting under modbus tcp server object. You access it in Automation Builder project tree.
