Good day. I have a tag value that seems to "drop out" randomly. Here is the tag and how its setup:
When I select "restart tag", the value comes back. I am using the same tag group on other tags that do not have this issue.
I was wondering is there is a way to restart the tag automatically via a gateway script or if I have something not setup correctly.
You could probably disable and then enable the tag and get the same effect.
You shouldn't need to do this. In this case you're probably papering over some issue with the OPC Server this OPC tag is coming from, because the result of restarting or disabling/enabling the tag is that the tag's corresponding Monitored Item is deleted and created again.
Im sure I shouldnt have to do this but, in "X" amount of time it will drop out. Just looking for a way.
