How to style time series chart Y axis font, line width, line color?

Hello,

I am struggling to change the style of the Y axis of the time series chart. I add an axis and change the style. But how can I actually see the axis I added on the chart? Nothing changes on the chart.

Step by step guide would be appreciated.
