We recently had some Kepware issues that resulted in us upgrading KepwareEX. Apparently it generates a new set of certificates as part of the upgrade which then breaks the connections with Ignition. What is the easiest way to get certificates exchanged for the new version of KepwareEX now?
What version of Ignition are you using and how are the connections broken?
In the simplest case you just need to trust the certificates again in the Ignition gateway, under Config > OPC UA > Security.
Hello Kevin. We are using 8.0.15. I did get things going again with the help of Kepware support. Didn’t realize any upgrade to KepwareEX was going to result in new certificates. Something good to know. I guess that was a recent “security feature” that was added.
