Hi All,
We have an issue in one of our Ignition systems. After several months running smoothly today just stopped working due to a C drive full. The main reason for the drive full is a huge Alarm.data file (20GB) located at:
C:\Program Files\Inductive Automation\Ignition\data\datacache\Alarms
Ignition version is 7.7.1. All alarms are sent to a MySQL server data base located in D:. Connection to the Alarms data base is in Valid state.
So the questions are:
1.- How can we stop this file growing
2.- If stop the growing is possible, then, it is also possible to reduce the size of the current file.
