Ok, well you can bring down either two dropdown calendars or a date range component. With either you will have a start date and end date. To filter alarms you need to bring down a table component and bind the data property to the Function binding selecting Alarm History. You can use the start date and end date in the filtering criteria. I think this is what you are looking for.
