IBH Link S7++ connect to ignition

Hi guys,

I would like to connect the VIPA PLC (Vipa 315-2ag12) to Ignition with IHB Link S7++.

The IBH Link is all default settings just the IP address is different. In the network I can ping this IP address, but the Ignition can't connect this PLC.

In the Ignition, the device connection is all default setting. I select the S7-300 PLC and set the right IP address.

My question is, where and what should I setting to make this a good? On the IBH Links or on the Vipa PLC or on the ignition?

I am really new in the Ignition programming so I am really open any idea!
If you need more information just write it!

Thank you!

Have you seen this?

Yes, I saw that before. In your config have "Own station address: 10" this is important or not? Because in my config it is 0.

And can I connect the VIPA PLC to Ignition over the MPI?

Thank you for your help!!

The Own device address is the address that the IBH will have on the MPI/PPI bus. If the 0 already exist, then you would not be able to communicate.

And can I set something in the PLC?

Port 0 is not occupied. So that is why I think the 0 is good for me.

Can you go online with the programming software?

Usually, I do this with the PC adapter via MPI, but if this module is inserted, I can also connect to the PLC via Ethernet through the module and program it.

Have you done this in the HW config on the PLC (and downloaded)?
Edit: I was to fast... this is S7-300...

Are there any messages in the Ignition Gateway logs?

Thanks you for your help!

I tried before this with trial version, but now I tired with complete licence and it works now!
All settings is default. Connected and works!

Does it matter if I wanted to connect to the device with a licensed version?

Thank you!

No, it doesn't.
In Trial, Ignition is running for 2 hours, after that YOU have to manually reset the trial to start again... if you don't, then nothing works...
