ICC 2025 - How to download contacts from the IA Events app

So ICC 2025 was great, good food, good sessions, lots of networking, shook hands with the legendary @pturmel (thanked him for his service on the forum), unending reminders that I need to up my Ignition game with MQTT and UNS (not to mention DevOps, GitOps, ETL, Helm, Kubernetes, Kargo, Argo, CICD, etc.) that feeling of insignificance as @kgamble discussed his deployment with 400+ Ignition gateways and 40M tags… and the food.

My first time at a technical conference. It was fun to find “my people” and be reminded and get excited that there is still much to learn. Thanks IA for hosting and thanks to all the friendly people attending and presenting!

The Klik (click) thing on the conference badges was nifty, I was put at ease after forgetting business cards at home, feeling somewhat reassured that I could retrieve the contact info shared with the badge click system.

Now that conference is done and I’m winding down, preparing to fly home tomorrow I’m finding that there seems to be no apparent way to download the contacts made from the conference app, all at once.

  • Have I overlooked a simple means to download the the shared contacts?
  • It feels wrong to manually transcribe the contact info. Did I suppress my introvert tendencies for naught :face_with_raised_eyebrow:?
  • How long will the conference app remain live?

Did I mention the good food. The meals provided beat my meager expectation of conference fare by a mile, but I especially liked coming out of a session to be met with a selection of grilled cheese sandwiches and sliders. Kept looking for that to happen again, sadly it did not , or I missed it. So much going on.

Well I’m not gonna have that issue, my klik thing didn’t work. Tried to take it to the help desk but all I got was a little button that flashed some lights when pressed.

I received an email this morning with a link to download my contacts. It gives you an xlsx file.

Thanks. Looks like I just needed to be more patient.
