In Ignition 7.9.9, if I copy (or cut) and paste an instance of UDT, its values are not copied.
This is a big inconvenience. For example, if you are moving a UDT within a folder.
Best Regards.

Have you tried drag and drop instead of cut and paste?
I don’t have a 7.9.9 install to test this in, so I can’t confirm the issue there. But I just tried copying and pasting (via Ctrl-drag-n-drop) a complex UDT with a bunch of memory tags in 7.9.12 and the values were copied as expected.
An aside: if you’ve avoided upgrading past 7.9.9 due to 32-bit clients, the 7.9.12 client launcher installer now handles those gracefully, automatically clearing the option to use embedded (64-bit) Java. Our upgrades from 7.9.9 to 7.9.12 went smoothly, including the client launchers on 32-bit client PCs (they continue to use the existing stand-alone 32-bit Java installs they used in 7.9.9).
So it seems a problem of version 7.9.9
Thank you.
For a workaround until you can upgrade, you can export to XML, edit the title, and import.
